  2. No photo, no date of birth. Both are treated as discrimination risks.
  3. A "Right to work in the UK" line in the top third, with your status.
  4. UK spelling: organisation, specialise, programme.
  5. Key skills section; interests brief or absent.

Questions

Should a UK CV have a photo?

No. Most UK employers strip photos to avoid discrimination claims, and many applicant systems flag them.

What is the right to work line?

One line stating your status, e.g. "Right to work in the UK: British citizen" or "Skilled Worker visa, sponsorship required". Recruiters check it before reading anything else.

How long should a UK CV be?

Two pages is the norm. One page can look thin for experienced candidates; three is too long.
